Body Shapes
Over the years Torillo designed and devloped three generic but unique body shapes to match best ergonomics, 100% balanced instruments with solid construction and best possible playbility. Shevette, Volta and Fargo were born. The latest body shape within the Torillo portfolio is a tribute to one of the most respected rock bass outfits: the Vidar.

We at Torillo Custom Basses think in sonical dimensions. Our consequence from our wood-tone-relation-experience was to create different series of inidividualization and tonal matching. We want to meet our customers’ expectations by different customization intensities in the best possible way. Torillo now offers three intensities of such tonal customizations.
Signature Tone Series
Our straight high quality handcrafted interpretation of the classics. The Torillo Signature Tone Series offers best woods and components, improved ergonomics and word class playability

Sonical Presets
The Signature Tone and Tone Design Series different from our Full Custom Voice Instruments in just two facts. The Signature Tone Series is offered in two and the Tone Design Series Basses are available in four sonical presets. The Signature Tone Series is limited to the body shape Shevette, while the Tone Design Series can be ordered in the shapes Shevette, Vidar and Volta. The sonical pre-sets are solely fixed to Torillo Custom Bass specifications and may change from time to time due the availability of particular woods and improvements.

Components
We are not stuck to any component supplier contracts. That clearly means that our Full Custom Voice customers generally have free choice. In this case we are more than happy to consult and support our customers to find the right components for the individual character of your personal instrument. Of course also our Full Custom Voice customer can truly benefit from our Toneshaper Pre Amp. Check it out! In the meaning of our Signature Tone and Tone Design approach all our instruments are equipped with passive high quality circuits and one or two passive Torillo Toneshaper pick-ups in different designs. For our Full Custom Voice, Tone Design and Signature Tone Series we offer our Toneshaper Pre Amp for additional 200 €.
